Very unprofessional. I had an account and was always paying on Time even renewed a few times. I had a stroke and was in the hospital for 2 months. Since I was the only one working we ran into financial problems. Gold star either did not believe my situation or did not care. One of their employees went to the hospital to try and collect a payment Wich I thought was very insensitive and rude. When my wife and I told her we did not have any money she suggested I ask one of my family members to loan me some money since they were there visiting me. my wife asked for a corporate or even main office phone number to complain she was told the number could not be given out. after I was able to go home they called twice a day even after telling them I was not receiving disability benefits yet. I had to change my number. Had they waited and worked with me I would have paid since it was helping my credit. Very, very unprofessional and would not recommend because of all the headaches they caused.

As far as approval, they do allow you to borrow your amount of money. As far as paying back, they wont except payment by debit card. Its so inconvenient having to get my babies ready and driving across town to pay them. If they would accept payments by phone, it would be just fine. At least they arent snobby like some loan places. They do try to be decent.

Do not bother to call you when denied. Had to call to find out myself and No reason given other than “you’ll get something in the mail” . Went to World Finance. No questions asked and qualified for more than was requested. I won’t bother with this company again.

These ladies are very professional and helpful!! One lady waited 30 minutes after work to wait on me because I was stuck in traffic!! Very sweet about the whole thing!! Thank u Ladies!!!!

Hello people...I saw alot of negative reviews..but I have to disagree with some .I think it was probably management at that time..I've been with gold star almost 4 years .Janie and Jackie the manager are the sweetest two people I know there ..they always assist me..I might not get the amount of money I want..but something is better than nothing ..lol.. anyways..just try again and GOD BLESS EVERYONE AND HAVE A BLESSED NEW YEAR .🙋✝️❤️❤️
