Utah Power Credit Union, Price, UT

Utah Power Credit Union makes you feel as if you are family. When requesting loans they have always made me feel as if my qualification was based off of my character rather than a credit score. Utah Power Credit Union lacks the corporate feeling that I've had at other banks and credit unions. The way you feel when you pull through the drive-threw or walk in the door is worth more than the quarter percentage you might be able to find elsewhere. That by no means is to say their interest rates are sub-par. I have yet to find a company that offers a better credit card interest rate!

I've been with this Credit Union for over 20 years and have no need to ever bank anywhere else. The employees are always awesome, very fast service, and have always helped me with anything financially whenever they could. Both the Helper and Price branches are great, although I do the majority of my transactions in Helper. Great institution and amazing service and staff, if you're in need of any type of banking service you simply cannot beat Utah Power Credit Union, check it out!!

Very disappointed. Grandmother was told that they had death insurance for a loan for a tub for her elderly husband, and when her husband passed away, she went in to have the loan covered by the death insurance, and they told her them that it was not covered they would only cover $2000 of her loan. Very disappointing from this kind of a home town company. They didn’t back up what their original loan officer stated how the death insurance worked. Seems like it got changed to protect the banks investments.
