Deann has always been helpful in letting me know the options i have, especially in the moments where ive had to refinance my loan. They are fantastic about reminding me when the payment is due and working with me when life gets in the way.

Normally I would write security finance a great review, as they have worked with me, refinanced my loan, and even helped me bring my past due account current. However, I tried to make my payment a couple of days ago, Chelsea answered, she said I had a late fee that had been applied that morning. It was 9:14am so I was only 14 minutes from that late fee. My payment was due the previous Friday, however, I live in Salt Lake City and had gotten snowed in and couldn’t make it to pick up my check that day. I let them know that I wouldn’t be able to pay it until that next Monday. The bank ended up being closed when I got my check so I ended up paying it Tuesday morning. So I understand that I was 14 min late and I understand that reasoning for the late fee. But when I explained to Chelsea what had happened, she said she was going to “question” my story, because she used to live in the area and there were snow plows. Well Chelsea, you don’t even live here, I have proof that I couldn’t make it to work because of the snow, as do half of the employees at my work who couldn’t make it either. It’s whatever that you wouldn’t remove my late fee for being 14 min late, but the fact that you accused me of lying because you’re “from the area” really PISSED me off. I have to commute an hour to work every day and I even have pictures of the traffic cameras on my way to work. So Chelsea, you lost my business with security finance and I will no longer be referring anyone there, (I’ve referred two people) and I cannot wait to make my last payment so I don’t have to speak to you again. The other reps, especially Carla, who helped me a lot, are GREAT. But Chelsea lost my business. Lol goodbye.
