I went to this location to make a wire transfer. The banker that assisted me was polite initially, but things took a turn during the process. The banker had asked me to confirm my phone number and I did. When she gave me the printout to confirm all the information the number was a different one that what she had given me, so I asked her to update it. She had to then redo the wire and she decided to take this out on me and became very rude from that point forward. I had mentioned a few times(because she asked) that I didn’t like Wells Fargo. She told me she took that personally, and as I tried to apologize and explain that it was not a personal comment directed towards her she became increasingly hostile and asked if I would like another banker to do the wire. I asked her if she would prefer another banker to assist and she abruptly left the room. She then went to another room where I could hear her personally insulting me to another member or members of the staff. I gathered my things and left.
After a few minutes, and still needing to do the wire transfer, I went back in and asked to speak with the manager. Meanwhile, the original banker stared at me through the window and laughed and continued to ridicule. I met the manager who turned out to be the person whom the original banker had gone off to insult me to.
The bank manager seemed nice, but so did the original banker at first. The manager was able to complete the wire transfer. The manager, under the guise of empathy, tried to convince me to not cancel my Wells Fargo credit cards. But those credit cards haven’t done anything to help my credit anyway. They were just a way for Wells Fargo to leech money from me and screw me over when I became seriously ill and missed two payments. Judging by previous reviews I don’t think anything was done about the other banker’s behavior.
I have had an account with Wells Fargo for a long time, but as this would have been my new local branch, I have decided to completely cut ties with Wells Fargo. The corpse rots from the neck down, and the rot has reached the extremities. I urge anyone who reads this to strongly consider moving their account to another financial institution.

I have reached out to Wells Fargo to express my concerns and while a response has been given, it did not resolve the concerns I have with Wells Fargo or this branch.

Bank as well as the drive through closed 20 minutes early and refused to explain why. Had a line of people outside the door but kept it locked.

This bank is horrible when it comes to the respect of their clients. I've had an account with the for a year or longer and asked to waive one $10 monthly fee, as I've never been charged it. I keep money coming in my bank account and this 1 time I didn't have $500 on the day they checked I'm charged $10 and can't be refunded after "checking my relationship with the bank" . I have a chase account and they have always done better business. No questions asked money back same day with no issue for anything. I opened wells fargo just because there is a bank in south boston virginia. If there was a chase i would close the account and dismiss them like they dismissed me.
