Horrific people. I lost my mother very suddenly while I had a loan with them and had incurred extra expenses way outside of my budget in order to fly my family down to California last minute to deal with the funeral, house, trust, etc and was not able to make payments for a short period of time (and had to take time off work to do this too). I explained this to them and that as soon as the trust was settled I'd not only be able to resume payments, but pay it off in full, but my family and dealing with the loss of my mother came first. It sounded like they understood and I had a strong payment history up until this point as well - it wasn't as if I had missed payments like this before, but they still called me multiple times a week, every week until the point I paid it off. It took a few months to sell the house and settle the trust and I wasn't even asking for them to stop interest or late fees or whatever, just to stop calling me all the time asking for money - I knew I'd be paying it off in full, so the few extra charges were meaningless compared to the time I needed to spend with family at the time . There was no compassion, no caring for what I was dealing with. They just wanted their money and were acting like bullies to get it at a time when I was vulnerable. I'd never, ever deal with this company again and I strongly recommend anyone steer clear of them.

I have paid off my loan with them early (over 4 months ago) because I am trying to get a cash out loan from my property but I can't because One-main haven't bother to notify the credit bureaus that my loan with them was paid in full with zero balance. This also adversly effected my credit score. I had told them numerous times the importance & effect that have on my life. I was told not to worry and it may take a month to show up in my credit report but so far nothing. I am stock paying the hotel because I can't take out and use my home equity.

They showed me what my payments would be per month which was not a problem until I saw how much of that was going towards the principal and how much is going towards them as profit these guys are crooks. I only wish I had been more educated on financial matters because they definitely did not show me how much they were going to be making per month off me compared to how much was going towards the actual loan which was like $59 out of $392 what a racket. It should be illegal to charge people that however interest rate or just denying the loan anyway.. I'm looking at some of these reviews and seeing the word value and I'm wondering what the hell these guys think value is.

Jot very helpful and lacks the ability to do their jobs properly. Stay far away from these lenders as possible. I hate that I have to give even 1 star. I dont think they are even worth that.

They were very attentive to my requirements, and we're not in regards to loaning more money to me than I was comfortable borrowing, or or additional products that I did not want.

Didnt get what I want, but customer service was good and the offers were straight forward.

Recommend by credit karma so I started my application had some issues with the application and so I called and just got really poor customer service there very brief and short very rushy not very helpful especially the male so I decided I did not want to do business with them.
