WaFd Bank, Cle Elum, WA

Absolutely terrible experience here. We had to repeatedly and slowly explain that my mom was imminently dying of cancer and was unconscious. And we repeatedly showed them her grant of power of attorney to my dad. They refused to accept the valid POA. They refused to help him manage her accounts. Told him “come back when she’s dead.” And to top it all off only one of the three employees was wearing a mask. Hard to trust a bank that claims to be a part of a community when employees flagrantly ignore the law and tell a grieving husband to wait for his wife to die before they’ll lift a finger to help him.

Amazing... amazing... amazing!! This company is committed to great customer service! In the banking industry where “people” are a dime a dozen Wafed bank in Cle Elum goes above and beyond in delivering quality to all its clients. We run a construction company and have questions regarding our business they take the time to help and it shows. This bank truly is a diamond in the rough!!!!

The workers here have always given a friendly greeting and nice when I've gone in. Idk what the deal with the Rachel gal that left a 1 star review 1 year ago and her comments about wearimg masks is about. There was never a law saying we had to wear madk there was a state mandate for all public places that was lifted at the beginning of March 2022, stores, banks, etc. no longer had to wear masks if they chose not to amd only the mandate remained for health care facilities until the beginning of march this year, 2023. No one at this location was breaking any laws about having to wear a mask. The lady was clearly talking about something she knew nothing about and seems to me trying to push her opinion on others and upset about her situation and just lookimg for anything she could add to her complaint. Which looking at other reviews clearly she seems to be the only one having issues 🤷‍♀️. But thats just my opinion. I wouldn't let her review stop you from going here.
