The WaFed Sequim team has been great to work with in processing the construction loan application. Throughout the entire process they provided excellent customer service, timely information, and clear answers to the multiple questions that arose as the process moved along. Always courteous and responsive, they helped make the process proceed smoothly and efficiently. A great, collaborative team to work with.

The team at the Sequim branch of Washington Federal Bank was fantastic to work with throughout our land loan and our construction loan, both very complicated. They were highly recommended by our home materials supplier, Linwood Homes. They allowed my husband and me to serve as owener-builders for the project, which is rare and very much appreciated as it allows us to be in full control and save money. They were extraordinarily professional and always quick to respond to our questions, and even sent us a sympathy card when our elderly dog passed away. I recommend this bank without reservation.

We have now done two home loans with WaFd. Both experiences were excellent. The most recent loan (July 2020) was at an extremely busy time for the branch despite COVID-19. I think everyone in the world was refinancing or buying a home at that time. That said, Cherrie and Korin were fantastic. They always let me know what was going on and communicated clearly. They were patient with us as we navigated the buying vs building debate and helped steer us to the right loan. We made a lot of changes along the way, and they were kind despite how much extra work it likely created behind the scenes. They made it really look effortless. If I ever buy a home again, I will definitely return to the team at WaFd.

Have been to 4 banks before coming there this morning and they either didn't have people to help or suggested we go apply on line then come back to deposit. The human interaction with polite people made all the difference for getting my son his first account. So much in fact I am thinking about ending 25 years with US Bank!
