United Bank, Charleston, WV

This bank has terrible customer service. The bank tellers are absolutely RUDE!!! The older women with glasses(she works the drive thru). She is the worst!!! And the bank teller bianco is no better. My husband went to deposit his check on Friday and she said he could get the money at midnight....well she didnt even deposit the check. He didnt get his money intill Monday because she screwed up. I'm pretty sure she did it on purpose. We will NEVER use this bank again because of them!!!!

Absolutely shameful customer service at this branch office. Upon entering I was told by a teller that someone would be with me shortly so I could open an account. I waited 40 minutes and a lady came in and sat across from me - a man voice from an adjacent office asked her if she needed assistance and she said "No, I'm waiting for my husband." I sat there another couple of minutes before leaving and heading over to Sun Trust Bank at the Kroger Supermarket. Sun Trust treated me well, and I was able to open an account quickly. If I could give zero stars, I would. Even the tv in the waiting area looks like it's 25 years old, and it was tuned to msnbc, so go figure.

Good luck if your account gets blocked over the weekend because they mailed you the wrong pin. You'll have to wait until Monday to have access to your money.

I took a check that was a United bank check to K.City branch. Since i didn't have a acct. with United, i was told my drivers licenced wasn't enough I.D. I was asked to present another I.D. such as auto registeration before they cash the check in my name.I was treated rudely for trying to cash a $11 check!

I have never written a bad review before, but the terrible, rude treatment I’ve received at this bank during the past year has reached the limit. I’ve banked at United for 25 years but no more. Do yourself a favor and find another bank.

The tellers are always polite and quick to take care of their customers in a timely efficient manner.
