Midland States Bank, Champaign, IL

Our business utilizes Midland States Bank for our banking needs and 401k administration. There staff are always responsive and have been very helpful with our migration of accounts to their bank. Yes, they are closed in the afternoons on Wednesdays, but once you learn, that is time they use to go out and market themselves, it all makes sense. Danny Stites, Michael Beem and the whole team have been easy to work with. As a smaller business we find that this has been a good fit for us.

I just moved here and the hours are horrid. 9-5 and 12-5 on a Wednesday….That leaves you no time to get off work and come here. Every other location is at least until 6pm and has Saturday hours. Then to make it worse, it’s the ONLY midland in town. Last week their entire system shut down, including the stand alone ATM off Bloomington Rd. I have to drive all the way back to Bourbonnais for service. This location is useless.

The worst Working hours. What is wrong with this branch (or bank)? This bank or branch is closes at 12:00pm on Wednesday. Who does that? I have also encountered a few random days(not holidays) when the lobby and drive through both closed. And I can see several people inside the premises. Once I am done with my Mortgage, will never bank with them again. Go to PNC instead, better service, better rates and best of all open regular business hours.

Midland States Bank may not be perfect. But they have always served me well. With the changes of the times I hope that their Champaign branch will be able to still serve their clients. They have provided services for purchasing my home and a 2nd mortgage to help fund my business and pay off a debt that I had aquired allowing a friend to use my social security number. I have always been one to have to learn from experience, but I've found no better way to learn. However, I'm still looking. PS Danny was Great.
