First, the employees at the Big Rapids branch are always helpful and friendly. The problem is you can't get help there for problems, you have to call the customer service (service being a joke) center. I've been using their bill pay for over a year. A few months ago, the system dropped all my scheduled bills. When I discovered this, I already had bills that were overdue. The call center rep. couldn't explain what happened but offered to pay the late fees and "hopefully" this wouldn't happen again. Shame on me for not closing the accounts and finding a new bank then. It happened again this month. Bobby at the call center could only repeat that the system didn't show the scheduled payments. She then went on to tell me in a roundabout way that it was user error. She didn't care or check to see that indeed I had been successfully using the system for a year or more. Instead, I was at fault because I don't know how to use the system. I tried calling to talk to a manager but was only able to leave a message. I don't expect to hear back. On the upside, all the time I spent on hold allowed me to change my direct deposit for my pension checks. As soon as this month's check posts, I can close my accounts! These problems seemed to appear after this credit union merged with another credit union. For what it's worth, find another credit union or bank to handle your business!
I was contacted later this same date by Jennifer. She listened to what I had to say and looked into the matter. I appreciate the time she took to attempt to fix this problem. Sadly, no one can figure out why this happened with the bill pay service.

I like this credit union for the five yrs I have been with them.
They have alot of extra perks that you don't get anywhere else, and their Loan rates are superb!!!
The location is great, don't have to be tied up in traffic, has ample parking.
All you pay is five dollars to open an account and there's free checking. Other banks charge a monthly fee if you don't have their specified money amount in your account.
