Staff not up to knowledge and so many fees avoid, as there are better credit unions around town. Hours are limited and lobby not opened on a Saturday so very limited for those who work 9-5

The best credit union, hands down! I use them for my personal banking, loans, as well as business banking and commercial loans. I value their relationship and helpfulness. And their manager Judy is the BEST! Keep up the great work!

I have been with this bank a few years. In bank customer service is good. Here are the numerous problems I have had. Nearly impossible to get all banking information online and while the pandemic is going on, this is crucial. I am in the process of switching banks because of better banking incentives and better online service elsewhere. When I call the number for this bank, it inevitably has me hang up and call other numbers. Switching banks for direct deposit was not easy either. Waited on phone for 45 minutes with who I needed to switch deposit info for just to find out there are more numbers in front of my account # that they neglect to put online, in your mobile app, or anywhere else unless you call them. I would give them one star but like I said, in bank customer service is good.

I can not say enough good things about NAFCU. I have business and personal accounts here. I started banking here just after they opened the Gaylord office. I’m self employed and applied for a car loan at my own credit union where I had accounts since I was 5 years old. They turned me down and accused me of having fraudulent tax returns because I showed income. Lol I went to northland and walked out with a check for my new used car in 30 minutes. I then moved all of my accounts out of the other credit union and out of another bank in town. NAFCU is truly a partner in my business and In our family. We are so grateful for their common sense approach to lending and their high level of customer service that is personalized in the branch! Thank you guys!!!

My son had an auto loan through them, when he sold his car, the buyers bank sent a cashiers check through mail. They were told it would take 5 days. 5 days came and went. Then they said 10 to 14 days before everything would go through. Well….14th day came and the buyers bank said they sent the check back to his bank! No reason why, we do not know reason. Finally got the check back and they accepted it and paid off the loan. My son went for them to release the loan. So the buyer could register the car. They said it would take 6 business days for the check to clear 🤦 and they did not release for the total 6 days . I’m not sure why they would have any doubts that a check from another banking institute would clear. So finally when they did release the loan they had a totally different name than my son!! Took 3 weeks to get everything finalized so the poor buyer could register and drive his car! Never have I ever had such an experience as this. To me it seemed they were intentionally making it difficult! Their lose! My son closed his account and will never bank there again! And he’s only 21 they could have gotten a life long member if they would’ve treated him better!
