Lake Trust Credit Union, Lansing, MI

My experience with Lake Trust on a whole as a financial institution has been miserable. Instead of verifying the transactions I make before locking the card they immediately lock it, and for regular internet transactions through reputable sites. I've been through 3 cards with them. They take twice as long as every oth financial institution I've had to complete transfers and transactions, and when coworkers have already gotten direct deposit mine hasn't even shown up as pending until hours later. Absolutely the worst Bank/Credit Union in Michigan.

On Saturday their ATM gave me a hundred dollar bill. Couldn't use it for breakfast. Went inside to get it broken. Video tellers started today which would have solved my problem.

The south Lansing Branch gets 5 stars for customer service. After making an appt for a notary to do a real estate closing at my other C.U. and being treated VERY rudely....Lake Trust allowed us to walk in unannounced and helped us out with our closing. The notary was very pleasant and even made several trips for copies for us. Unbeatable customer service. Thank you South Lansing Lake Trust C.U.!!

Great customer service with super friendly staff! Very helpful and cheerful and when I accidentally overdrafted my account. They were kind enough to reverse the charges. I love being a member of this Credit Union.

I've been a member since 2019 and have always had a great experience when working with Lake Trust. Once in a while, my card won't read but I think it is a function of the machine I'm at, not the card. Highly recommended, Every Branch I've visited (and I've visited most if not all of them) is very helpful and is easy to work with.

My coworker recommended that I open up an account with Lake Trust Credit Union. Never been with a credit union before. Awesome people and they really care about your needs. Would recommend them to anyone!!!
