Which apps say "no credit check" in their own words
We checked each app's official site on October 25, 2026, and list an app only if the company itself says it doesn't check credit for advances:
| App | What the official site says | Advance range |
|---|---|---|
| Dave | Dave “does not require a credit check at any point” | $25–$500 |
| MoneyLion | No credit pull or credit check for Instacash | Up to $500 ($1,000 with Spend direct deposit) |
| EarnIn | Cash Out comes with no credit check | Up to $200/day, $1,000/pay period |
| Brigit | No credit check required | $25–$500 |
| Tilt (formerly Empower) | Cash Advance: no credit check | $10–$500 |
| Chime MyPay | Chime does not perform a credit check for MyPay | $20–$1,000 per pay period |
| Klover | Advance available with no credit check | Up to $200 (some pages say $750) |
Albert is different: it runs a soft pull to check rates for its loan products and a hard pull if you continue a loan application, so check which product you're applying for.
What these apps check instead
"No credit check" doesn't mean "no check." Apps underwrite you using your bank data. From their official requirements:
- Income deposits: EarnIn wants a regular pay schedule and at least $320 per pay period. Chime MyPay needs a $200+ qualifying direct deposit.
- Account age and activity: MoneyLion asks for a checking account open at least two months with regular deposits and a positive balance.
- Identity: apps verify identity and account ownership.
- Employment: EarnIn validates earnings via a work email address or location.
- Ongoing behavior: EarnIn says your pay-period max can rise, fall or drop to $0 based on factors like bank balance and spending.
So two people with the same credit score can get very different limits. Steady deposits matter more than your FICO score.
Do these apps affect your credit?
Because there's no hard inquiry, requesting an advance doesn't show up as an inquiry on your credit reports. Most apps also don't report advances to the bureaus — Chime, for example, says it doesn't report MyPay payment history. Keep enough in your account on payday for the repayment debit so it doesn't overdraw your account.
App fees at a glance
- Free standard delivery: EarnIn (1–3 business days), MoneyLion (to its own account), Chime MyPay (within 24 hours).
- Instant fees: EarnIn from $3.99; Chime MyPay 3% ($2–$5); MoneyLion Turbo 7.5% (max $14.99) to its account or 9% external.
- Per-advance fee: Dave charges the greater of $5 or 5%, plus up to $5 a month.
- Subscriptions: Brigit $8.99–$15.99 a month; Tilt $8 a month after a 14-day trial.

If an app gives you a $0 or tiny limit
Common reasons include irregular deposits, a new or low-activity bank account, frequent negative balances, or income an app can't verify, such as cash tips or some gig pay. You can set up direct deposit to the account you link, link your primary checking account, or wait a few pay cycles.
Or you can skip the waiting. Lenders look at more than an app's deposit algorithm: many in our network weigh your overall income and may use alternative credit data instead of a traditional hard pull from the three major bureaus. That gives you another path when apps won't budge. See no credit check loans for how lender checks work.
Need more than $500? Use one form
Apps are built for small gaps. First advances are often under $100, and even established users usually top out around $250 to $500. If your bill is bigger than that, or you'd rather not sign up for app after app hoping one approves a larger limit, our free form takes about 3 minutes and reaches multiple lenders in our network at once, with requests from $100 to $5,000 depending on your state. Approved funds often arrive by the next business day, and you're never obligated to accept an offer.
Depending on your state, lenders in our network offer payday loans repaid on your next payday and installment loans repaid in fixed payments over several months. Your lender shows the exact APR and terms before you sign.
See if you qualify — it takes about 3 minutes.
How it works
- Fill out one short form — about 3 minutes. You'll share your loan amount, contact details, income and the bank account where you want the money.
- We match you with lenders in our network that serve your state. Many lenders focus on income and may use alternative credit data instead of a traditional hard pull.
- Review your offer. If a lender approves you, it shows the amount, fee, due date, exact APR and total to repay before you sign. You're never obligated to accept.
- Get your money. Once you e-sign, funds are often deposited by the next business day.
What lenders typically look at: your income and how often you're paid, your checking account history, your identity details, and sometimes data from alternative credit databases. Having your pay date and bank details ready keeps the form to about 3 minutes.
Protect your bank login
Apps and lenders both connect to your bank account. Download apps only from the official App Store or Google Play listing, link accounts through the official in-app flow, and never email or text your online banking password. Legitimate lenders don't charge a fee before sending your loan — the FTC says upfront-fee demands are a common sign of a scam. See payday loan scams.
Frequently asked questions
What cash advance apps don't check credit?
Dave, EarnIn, MoneyLion, Brigit, Tilt (formerly Empower), Klover and Chime MyPay all state on their official sites that they don't run a credit check for cash advances. They review your linked bank account instead, including income deposits, account age, balance and spending patterns.
What app will give me a cash advance with bad credit?
Because most cash advance apps don't use credit scores, bad credit usually isn't the obstacle; steady deposits matter more. EarnIn, MoneyLion, Dave and Brigit base limits on your bank history, and first advances are often small. If you need more, lenders in our network consider all credit types and focus on income.
Can I get a cash advance with no credit check and no direct deposit?
Some apps accept regular income deposits that aren't traditional payroll, but most need recurring income they can see. Chime MyPay requires a qualifying direct deposit and EarnIn needs a regular pay schedule. Lenders in our network accept a range of income sources, so our form is worth trying if apps turn you down.
Are there loans with no credit check?
Many lenders don't pull a traditional hard report from the three major bureaus, but they may check alternative credit data and verify your income. Through our free form you can request $100 to $5,000 from lenders that consider all credit types. Approval isn't guaranteed and the lender sets final terms.
Are no-credit-check cash advance apps legit?
Established apps such as those listed here are real companies. Be wary of lookalikes: never pay an upfront fee to receive an advance, download only from official app stores, and don't share your online banking password outside an app's official linking process.
